Snip and Sparkle at your service.

Hello Everyone,

Guess what it is time for another challenge at Mayzy Art.  This time around the theme is SPARKLE. The image is one in Mayzy Swoopy Gals they are available in a set or by them self.

Ok, I have lots of sparkle going on here. I colored her with my copics. Gave her apron the stickles treatment. I made up the verse and created it with my cameo and cut it out. I cut the image and mat with the cameo as well. The large scissors are a cut file, I cut them out with white card stock and applied silver pigment ink and silver glitter embossing powder to give them a metal look.

The hair salon pic is one I found on google and cut it out and layered again with my cameo.

And even more sparkle with some glitter paper in the lower part of the card. Of course I had to add some pearls and rhinestone to the package. I have glaze pen over the hair dryer but is a bit hard to see.

I do hope you will join us for the challenge

A bit of Irish Birthday Celebration

Happy Friday Everyone,

Well it looks like another weekend is just about upon us. Gosh this one just flew buy for some reason.

Isn't this a fun stamp. This is one of Mayzy's new stamps in her shop. Now I have made her into an Irish birthday card. But I think you could use this for other celebrations as well. This is for the challenge this week at The Outlawz Copic/ProMarker group.

This is one of the first times I have used all digital papers. These are by Sherry K. They were perfect. To be honest I think I have only used digital papers maybe once or twice in the past. But the printer I have now does a really good job with the colors my other printer was older and the colors just were not right on the mark.

I have colored her with my Copics. She is cut out with my Cameo. The verse is from TLC and is also cut using my Cameo. I just love that machine.

I added a few green pearls. The beer foam is done with puff paint and her shoes and the glass mug have glaze pen on them. A little stickles around the trims on her outfit.
I think Mayzy did an awesome job on this image. It was so much fun to color.

I hope you have enjoy the inspiration today, Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Rough Morning

Hello everyone,

Hope all is well. I was out most of the day and did not get this post done ahead of time. Opps....
Well I was tired of the look of my blog so I gave it a bit of a face lift. I think it looks a bit more perky thanks to Leelou-blogs.com. This is one of her designs. She has all kinds on her site that you can use. Hope you like it.

On a side note today is the magazines owner and good friends' birthday. A big Happy Birthday to you Colleen.

Today's card is for the new challenge over at TTCRD magazines challenge blog.

Our sponsor this week is

OK, admit it how many of you are like this in the morning? I am not a coffee drinker but I do like my Diet Pepsi to help me get moving in the morning.

I wanted to give him a little bit of a scruffy bear looks since it was early morning for him. I uses different brown tones of my copics on the fur then use rubbing alcohol  and a wash cloth to take off some and create more texture.

It's hard to see but here is glossy accents on the creamer and the coffee. I didn't have a ribbon to match so I broke out my air brush and used my copic to match the robes belt.

It was a long day of running errands and I am beat. So I am bringing this to a close. Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Easter Friends

Happy Friday,

Can you believe how fast Easter is approaching?

It will be here before we know it.

My card for today's challenge for the Copic Pro marker team over at The Outlawz is Easter.

So what better card than this cute Bunny and friend by Wee Stamps. So cute.

The image is colored with my Copics. I have also used the copics to make my clouds with my cloud template.

The papers are some I picked up at Michaels.

The ribbon and brad I have had in my stash for a while.
Of course I had every color pearl except pale yellow. Well I a so glad I got an air compressor for my Copics for Christmas. This was the first time I tried to color pearls Oh it's all white pearls from now on and I will just color them using the air compressor. Worked so much better than hand coloring them.

I hope you will stop by and check out my fellow DT's creations. They are stunning.

Top of the mornin' to you.

Hello Everyone,

Hope this Friday is finding everyone well.

Today I bring you the challenge that is being held over at The Outlawz Copic/ProMarker challenge this week.
The theme is St. Patrick's Day.
Many people just associate this day with the color green and people drinking green beer. While that is what many want you to think that is what it is all about this is the the definition of it.

Saint Patrick's Day or the Feast of Saint Patrick (IrishLá Fhéile Pádraig, "the Day of the Festival of Patrick") is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated on 17 March. It is named after Saint Patrick (c. AD 385–461), the most commonly recognized of the patron saints of Ireland.
Saint Patrick's Day was made an official feast day in the early seventeenth century and is observed by the Catholic Church, the Anglican Communion(especially the Church of Ireland), the Eastern Orthodox Church and Lutheran Church. For Christians, the day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in IrelandHowever, it has also become a celebration of Irishness and Irish culture in general.

That was the lesson of the day LOL. Ok, now on to the card I made for the challenge.

The image is by All That Scraps. It's a Meople. They are fun.
I have colored the image with my copics and added some stickles to show off that big shamrock.
The verse is a very old one that I have had for years. I am thinking it is from DRS desgins but I could be wrong.

The papers are from the Recollections All Season Pad. This pad has 180 sheets of 6x6 papers and there are so many different ones you just don't find in other packs of papers. A little green seem binding for some more texture. I cut the image and the layering piece out with my Cameo. This was just a plain fun card to make.

I hope you will join us for our St. Patrick's Day challenge. And Happy St. Patrick's Day to you.

Thanks for stopping by and having a look today.

Little Lady Bug

Happy Tuesday Everyone,

Woke up to a very rainy day. Gezz a little sunshine would be nice.

The rain doesn't put a damper on today's post.

Yes, it is the challenge over at Through the Craft Room Door Magazine. Psst new issue coming out very soon.

But today we have the wonderfully talented artist Mayzy of MayzyArt sponsoring us this time around. Oh I love here images.
http://mayzyart.com/

I hope you will stop over and see what my team has done with the images she provide. WOW is all I can say.

Here is my card for this week.

I had fun with this one even though I ended up redoing the layout. The first one was just not what I had in mind. So I went on a search and found some digi papers that were perfect and even better they were a freebie set offered by Sherry K. I wanted Lady Bug paper and sure enough I got it. I don't use digital papers very often but humm might look into it more.

I had my image colored for a while and was waiting on the ribbon I ordered for this card to come in. Boy that's a whole other story in it's self. Thankfully the company finally sent it and I got the card finished.
I have colored her with my copics.

Of course I had to add a little sparkle to her bows on her dress and necklace.
Some black pearls in the corner and on the verse which is a Studio G stamp.
The black cardstock has been punched with my SU scallop border punch. I think it and the white satin ribbon makes the shear ladybug ribbon really POP.

I sure hope you will stop by and check out the fab cards this week and enter for a chance to win Mayzy's stamps. Please remember limit 2 entries and no backlinking allowed.

Fashion Baby

Hello Everyone,

Hope the beginning of the weekend finds all well.

Today is a new challenge over at The Outlawz CPC team.
This weeks theme is Fashion.

What better image than this Saturated Canary image. Doesn't she just spell F.A.S.H.I.O.N.
To me she looks like she has just stopped at the end of a runway for a pose.

I have colored her with my Copics. The verse is a clear stamp I believe it is Kaiser Craft.

The blue is really more of a aqua color but darn it I couldn't get it in any of the pictures I took.
Which is why I colored the dress the color I did. Oh well.

A little bakers twine for some texture and the colors went so well with the papers. The papers are some that I picked up at AC Moore. I loved the colors.

I hope you have enjoyed this card because this image reminds me so much of Blanche from The Golden Girls. Loved that show. She always had that sexy devilish look in her eyes and a grin to match. As soon as the challenge theme came up I thought of this image. She was all about fashion, style and the way she carried herself.

You are my Star!

Hello Everyone,

Today brings another challenge over at MayzyArt. Boy did I have fun with this theme. It is Stars. As soon as Mayzy announced it I knew right away what image I wanted to use. I just remember the old cartoons that showed the super hero's with the stars flying up behind them.

The image is Captain Comic and boy does this guy have muscles.

I have used a step card to display him with the stars flying out from behind. His outfit has stickles on it. Some of the flying stars has glitter behind them.

The verse is one that I printed out.

I hope that you will join us over at MayzyArts for this fun challenge. The prizes that Mayzy offers are the best. Thanks for stopping by today.

Just a note: Mayzy is having a March Madness Sale 40% off till Wed. Stop by her shop and add some new images to your collection. You know you want to. Code is MARCH.

Friends Forever

Hello All,

I am back today with a card for The Outlawz Copic/Promarker Challenge.

This weeks theme is Pets. Lets see what you have in store for us.

I have used an image by Precious Moments. All of their images are so cute and very hard to choose  which one you want to use.

I have colored this little guy and his pup with my Copics.
The verse was a freebie that TLC offered.  I thought it fit perfect.

I have been playing around with my Cameo on cutting the card. I watched a video that Doodling Debbie put out at how to cut a card out using your die cut file. I decided to try cutting using my digi image since I was cutting the image with the Cameo already. Here is the video link for Debbies' video.

I had fun putting this card together. You know when you have something in your head and you just hope it will look half as good as what is in your head you will be happy?
Well I am very happy with this one.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and for all the lovely comments that everyone leaves me throughout the posts. You are all so kind. I hope you will stop over and join our challenge this week.
