I am continuing my calendar using Bugaboo Stella. She is just a plain hoot.

She is colored with my Copics.

The paper is from Prima.

You gotta love Stella. Aren't there mornings you just wake up and feel like that?

I hope you will stop over to The Outlawz and join us for this challenge. This is the last week for a chance to win some digi images from our Sponsor Dilly Bean.

Olympics/Sports

Hello Everyone,

Are you ready for another Copic/Promarker challenge. Well The Outlawz has one. Yes, it's Friday and our theme this week is Olympics/Sports . With the Olympics closing in on us now is the time for you to pull out those sports related images and play along.

We have Dilly Bean as our sponsor this month. You will have a chance to win some digi stamps from them.

Today I am using 2 MayzyArt images. Are they cute. You can find them here. I have colored them with my Copics

The bat and tennis rackets are some clip art. The words BAT ,LOVE and #1 were created using my Slice.
Since I chose to make a stair step card that posed a slight problem with the word LOVE so I used a piece of acetate and attached the words to it vertically.

The stair step card is great when you want to show more than one image.

I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge. It will be a fun one.

Also check out the challenge at Through the Craftroom Door Magazine. If you don't subscribe you should consider it. There is some great stuff in the current issue. I have a video tutorial in there making lacey background paper. You can only see it if you are a subscriber.

Anything but a Card

Happy Saturday Everyone,

Well it is raining here finally today. Not complaining. Nice gentle rain to so at least it will soak in.

Today brings a new challenge over at MayzyArt challenge blog. And this is a good challenge for you. Today is anything but a card. Sometimes easier said than done. But it is a good time to break out of the "card" mode and try something else.

Today I am using Leah. I have made a gift tag for a baby shower. I thought this would be perfect. You can do this with most stamps it's really easy. When you go to cut out your image lay another piece of cardstock behind the image. I will sometimes add a few staples around the cardstock to hold it in place as you cut and then you will just have to hold that one place that is left to cut so you can finish cutting the image with out it moving.

I just printed To and From on the blank sheet but I know there are stamps out there for that too. I have one somewhere LOL.
I leave just a little bit of extra card stock at the top to add a brad for my tie but that would be up to you. I just didn't want a whole in her head.
I have colored Leah with my copics.

Doesn't this look like you could be giving a gift card or certificate. Maybe even a baby feeding spoon. I have done this same tag thing many times when I need a gift tag to be a little special. I hope you will give it a try.

This picture you can see the extra cardstock and brad at the top. I love Leah hair on this image. She looks like the shower is coming none too soon. I hope you will join in on the challenge. We would love to see what you come up with for this theme. You can use any image you like but Mayzy will draw one entry from Random.org and the other she will draw as her favorite using a Mayzy image. Oh just a note. Today 7/14 is the last day of her sale so if you would like to add to your Mayzy collection now is your chance for an extra 20% off. Just a few more hours left.

Christmas in July at The Outlawz

Hello Everyone,

Wow it's been a week since I posted. Just been one of those weeks. Well today I am back with our challenge over at The Outlawz CPC group. And guess what it is? One of my favorite type of cards to make.

Yup, you guessed it if you guessed Christmas. Now is the time to start planing out those Christmas cards that you will need to send. Heck with it being as hot as it has been making Christmas card make you feel a little cooler. Ok maybe that's just me. :-)

This month we have Dilly Bean as our sponsor and my card is using their image. The image is all in one but I chose to cut mine apart and make little "tile" like pieces.

I tackled another twisted easel card. While the card it self is easy getting a good picture is not. LOL

I used my Memory Box snowflake border and have done my card in more of the "kraft" colored.
I think it gives it that vintage feel with the kraft and the muted colors. Of course the image is colored with my Copics
The papers I used are from My Mind's Eye The Merry Days of Christmas paper pad.

I hope you will join our challenge this week. Just remember your project must be colored with Copic/Promarkers and be a new project not posted previously.

Just a reminder that Through the Craftroom Door magazines new issue is coming out very soon. I think you will be blown away with this issue. If you are not a subscriber yet, click here to subscribe.

Saturday I will have a new card up for The MayzyArt challenge so be sure and stop back and join in.

Vacation Destination

Well Howdy All,

Hope your week has went well. Today I am back with a card for the Copic/Promarker challenge on The Outlawz. Yup been a while. We have been celebrating our 2000 member with a wonderful party. You still have just a little time left to play along. It all end 11.59:pm EST on Saturday July 7th.

The challenge this week is Vacation Destination. Ok, so if you were given a free trip somewhere where would you go? Ok, now put that into a card or project using your copic/promarkers and enter our challenge this week.

We have a new sponsor this month. It is Dilly Bean Stamps. You will have a chance to win 3 of their digi stamps. The DT will showcase one of their images through out the month.

My card is using Miss Outlawz that Mayzy of MayzyArt drew just for us for our 2000 member party. Yes she is free too. Gotta love Mayzy she is awesome.

So why did I choose this for my vacation destination. Because if I had a free trip coming to me I want to go to a nice quiet ranch and just see what ranch life is all about. I want to get up and watch the horses being feed and ready for a day on the ranch. I want to see all the workings of the ranch as well as sitting there in the early evening watch the sun go down. Ok so maybe I have been reading too much. LOL

I have colored Miss Outlawz with my copic. The "cowgirl" and "yee haw" embellishment cut outs are done with my Slice. I added a little thin twine to make a rope to hang around the fence post. The papers are by Making Memories. I also cut out little stamps and added them as embellishments to the side part of the fence.

I was very please with how this came out. I hope you like it and will join us over at The Outlawz for the Vacation Destination Challenge. Just remember you project must be colored with Copic/Pro Markers and must be a new project no backlinking.

Do you love MayzyArt images? If so you should check out Through the Craftroom Door magazine. Mayzy drew three exclusive image just for the magazine. If you are not a subscriber click here for more information on how to subscribe.

Also MayzyArt has added even more images to her Etsy shop.

Schools Out.....

Hello there,

Today I bring you a new challenge at The House of Gilli. The theme this time around is Vacation. That is one that is open for all kinds of fun stuff..

This challenge the team is starting something new. All of the DT will post at the same time rather than one every few days. This way you will see all the inspiration at once.

I changed my stamp up a bit as anaRy encourages you to do this. I didn't ink up the basket or the flowers and then drew her hand in a little. It's not perfect but not bad either.

I wanted Gilli to be fresh out of school for the summer.

I have colored Gilli with my Copics.

I hope you will stop buy and check out the teams inspiration on the site today and join in on a chance to win some Gilli Goodies.

Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your week.

Christmas in July

Hello everyone,
I wish it was cold enough right now that we might get a little bit of snow. That just is not going to happen. With this terrible heat wave we have been having it brought with it a big storm on Friday night/Saturday morning. Rain, hail and 70+ mph winds. Our back yard has tree limbs all over it. Many trees in the area were taken down by the winds. Lucky the tree limbs were the only damage we had, but we lost our power for 14 hours and boy did that really throw me behind on a lot of stuff.

Ok enough about my life. LOL

Through the Craftroom Door has a new challenge up and it is Christmas in July. Wow I hope you will stop by and check out my fellow DT's inspiration. There are some really pretty cards out there. I guess everyone was a little tired of all the hot weather when they made them. :-)

My card today is colored with Copics. This is an old stamp that I dug out. I don't remember who it is by but I am pretty sure they are no longer in business. Shame they had some wonderful stamps.

I got a chance to use my new memory box die. After I cut the snowflake border I cover it with glamour dust.
The Season's Greetings stamp is by Studio G.
I used a little more glamour dust for the snow area.

Our sponsor this time around is The Paper Temptress. You could win a $25.00 gift certificate for the store. You should see some of the papers that she has.

Alright it's getting closer to the release day for Issue # 2 of Colleen's Through the Craftroom Door Magazine. I really hope you are a subscriber. This is going to be another jam packed issue of lots of fun projects and ideas. Not a subscriber? Click here for information on how to subscribe. Psst.... submissions to the magazine will give you a chance to win a $25 gift certificate.

I hope you will visit the magazine and join us for the challenge this time. Thank you for stopping by today.
