SNOW!

Snow, Snow and more Snow. Ok, it's pretty but this is getting to be a bit much. Is it spring yet?

These pictures are the back yard. The evergreens are normally 25-30 feet but are weighed down with snow.

There is a deck there somewhere.

That is a weeping willow to the right of the shed. It is kind of neat looking with the snow all over it.

Valentine

Hi Everyone,

It is a nasty rain/sleet/freezing rain day here. YUCK.........

I thought I would post this lovable little card. This is a Penny Johnson stamp. I have colored it with Copic makers. The background paper is by Bo Bunny.

I took a old heart template/stencil that I had and traced around it but cutting the hearts at the bottom outside of the heart. The ribbon is a pink wrinkled ribbon from All that Scraps.

The scallops around the heart are little circle punches that I spray with a homemade shimmer mist then adhered to the back of the heart. I rolled them up a bit. Some Stickles were added to the hearts and soda they are drinking.

Thanks for taking a look.

Play ground in my mind

Hi Everyone,

This card is done with Mo's Digital Image for this weeks challenge. She is colored with Copic markers. The image is cut out with a Nestie as well as a spellbinders tag is was embossed over and then cut and adhered at the top and bottom of the image.

A little closer image.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of you

Happy Monday,

Just a quick card today. I did the dotted background again on this one.

I also used up so old supplies. The ribbon has got to be at least 15 years old as well as the navy cardstock.

The little girl look so deep in thought.

Thanks for stopping by.

Teddy Bear Hugs

Happy Saturday,

I love the way this card came out. Simple but cute. I have sent this to a friend. She has been swamped with work lately I wanted to cheer her up. Hope it works.
The background paper is some that I just got from Stampin up's clearance rack on line. I think it was last years Valentine's papers.

Thanks for stopping by.

Rain, Rain, Rain

Hi Everyone,

Ok, we need some rain to wash away all of the snow. It just isn't melting. Snow was fun at one time when you were younger but not anymore. The thought of falling on my butt is not funny anymore. :-)

This is a magnolia image. I stamped a hero arts dots stamp in white ink over a piece of acetate then layered it over the blue background paper.

Still needed something so I added a little ribbon from box huge box of ribbon.

I decided to be a little different with the nestie and cut out around her umbrella and top of her head. Added a little glossy accents to the water.

Retro

Hi Everyone,

This card reminded me of the 70's. I remember clothes looking like this. I thought the background paper had that feel to it as well. It is from prima.
The ribbon and rhinestones I have had for years. My challenge this year is to try and use something on my cards that I have had for at least a year. You know the "must have" and "just in case" stuff. Admit it we all have at least a little of that.

I am not a big yellow fan but whenever I use it with purple I just sit back and say wow that looks great together. I know it's on the color wheel but even looking at it there you just think nah.... won't look right.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Just a Quick Note

Happy Wednesday,

We got about 3 inches or so of snow last night very pretty but yuck it has to be shoveled now.

This card was made with a Sarah Kay image. It is done in pinks and browns with a little blue added in.
I added a little stickles to the girls hair bows and flowers. The background paper is from Bo Bunny's Crazy Love Collection. It is really some cute paper. The ribbon is from All that Scraps. It is double sided.

The girls are colored using Copic makers. I am still getting use to these markers. I do love the way you can blend with them.

Time for some hot chocolate :-)

Happy New Year Everyone.

Here is a card I did with prisma colored pencils on kraft cardstock. I used gamsol to blend. I like the way it came out. The picture does not due the card justice.

The large rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts out of the UK.
The leaves are punched out of background paper and I used my embossing stylus to make the veins. the small rose are some ribbon roses that I have had for at least 10 years.

Just a close up of the little girl who is by The Greeting Farm. She is called Lottie.

Thanks for stopping by.
