Anything Goes with a twist- Outlawz Friday Challenge

Hi there,

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Mine was great. What I can hardly believe is that everything is almost over. All this prep work and decorating and boom it is over in a few hours LOL. I so enjoy it though. Just think tomorrow everyone will be getting ready to ring in the New Year wow 2012. Ok that just looks weird to type it out. So I guess you are saying not any weirder than me having a picture of a January 2013 calendar up on my blog..... yes but there is a reason for that.

We thought we would add a little bonus twist to our Anything Goes challenge that we have each month. Just something to shake it up a little. This time we will have a 2013 calendar that you can download and make one each month starting now and by the beginning of December 2012 you will have your calendar done for yourself or for a gift for someone. If you want you can make a bunch of them each month and then have a special gift to give someone maybe a co-worker or friend. Now do you have to do this? No, it is optional but we hope you will give it a try even if you just make one for yourself to put on your craft desk.

My calendar I am going to make it a humor one. So I chose my image from Bugaboo's Stella Collection. Oh my gosh have you seen these yet. They are so funny it is hard to choose which ones. They have more than the Stella collection but I just love her.

She is colored with my Copics. The calendar is printed on Kraft cardstock. My paper is from Recollections Holiday Traditions paper pad. This has some really pretty papers in it. I used my Copic Spica clear pen on the drink and her shoes but then used my glaze pen on her shoes and glass right over the Spica. I also used the glaze pen on her earrings, glasses and necklace. The verse came with the digi stamp. I hope that you will decide to join us for a year long calendar making Anything Goes challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Happy and safe New Year's.

JOY

Hi there everyone,

Can you see 2012 waving at us? Can't believe how close the new year is. Just when you get use to writing 2011 now it's time to start over again. LOL

Does anyone have an resolutions yet? Still thinking?
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Hopefully you were able to spend it with family and friends. Did anyone get any new crafting supplies? I got a few. So I am a happy camper.
Can't wait to dive in and try all my new goodies out.

My card today is another card that I have used the inspiration colors from the CMC site. Gold, White and Cream. It really is a pretty combo together.

My image is by Make it Crafty. Isn't she cute with that big old package she is handing someone?

I have colored most of her dress in golds. Her little shirt in a darker cream. The package is colored in creams and I have added clear and sand Spica pens on it for some added shine.

The "Joy" stamp is out of the Michael's dollar bin. I thought is was beautiful when I saw it and with it embossed in gold WOW it is stunning.

I am entering this card in two challenges today.

Suzanne Dean owner of CMC is allowing a second card into the challenge if you enter both the Copic challenge and the Bookendz challenge.

The other challenge is Penny's Challenges where the theme is Holiday Gifts. I thought this was a perfect image for this one.

Thank you for stopping by today. Also a reminder there are a few days left on the TTCRD Challenge.

Also watch my blog for Friday's post for The Outlawz Copic/Promarker Challenge. We have something a little different lined up for you.

Merry Christmas to All

Hello Everyone,

Happy Christmas Eve to all,

I wanted to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas. I would also like to thank you for all the wonderful comments and encouragement throughout this past year. It has meant so much to me. I don't always get to go out and comments as much as I would like but I do see your beautiful creations through RSS feeds that I get. When I started my blog I never knew how many wonderful people that have the same obsession as I were out there. You are all truly wonderful. I hope everyone is able to spend the holiday season with family and friends. Merry Christmas to all.

My card today is one that I made using the tutorial that I watched on SCS. I have used a Just Rite stamp.

I have used some die cut chip board to add a little something to the card.

The center is cut and embossed with my spellbinders circle and scalloped circle dies.

A little red seam binding ribbon for the bottom and I called it complete.

Don't forget if you are looking for some challenges to enter so you have a good excuse to use some of your new goodies that you have received for the holidays. Check out the following.

Apples Anyone? Outlawz Friday Challenge

Hi there,

Can you believe how close Christmas is? Is everyone done there shopping and now relaxing? I hope so those stores are getting really busy and so much as been picked over. We at The Outlawz decided to go for a challenge this week. This way if you get any craft goodies for Christmas and want to give them a try this is your chance.

Just a simple card today. The theme is Food. I decided to break away from Christmas card making and use one of my new digi stamps from Saturated Canary. Oh she has the cutest images. A while back she had a wonderful sale and gave all of her customers that placed an order an added gift of a special digi. All of her digi's are cute but the one she sent as a gift was adorable.

On to my card today. Like I said the theme is food so that could really be just about anything from a holiday meal to a candy bar. The possibilities are just about endless. Only a few rules.

Your project must be related to the theme of Food.
Your image must be colored with Copic/Pro Markers.
The project must be new, No Backlinking

The Outlawz have some of the best sponsors, be sure to stop by and have a look.

My image is colored with my Copic Markers. The papers are from the My Minds Eye Quite Contrary Jack and Jill collection. I added some pearls as well as some decortive corners that I cute using a cuttlebug die and my cuttlebug. The verse I just printed using Word.

I hope you have enjoyed my card and will join us for the challenge this week. We know it is a busy time right now so if you are unable to this week we completely understand. I want to wish you A Very Merry Christmas.

My image is Saturated Canary digital stamps called Christmas Nutcracker. I thought she was just so sweet when I saw her with those long curls.

She is colored with my Copics. I added some gold ribbon and pearls for accent.

I have to tell you I just love the way this card came out.

I am entering this in Saturated Canary Link Party. I hope you will stop by. If you "like" any of the entries you will give them a chance to win some of Krista wonderful images.

Holiday Celebration-Outlawz Friday Challenge

Happy Holidays,

Can you believe Christmas is just a little over a week away. Before you know it we will be saying goodbye to 2011 and hello 2012. Only one more challenge after this before Christmas. We hope you can play along with the weeks challenge.

The theme is Holiday Celebrations. So put on your thinking caps and join in.
My card is using a Mostly Animals stamp for my main image. I created my background with a Happy New Year stamp from PSX.

I was so pleased with how the labels came out on this image. Of course it is colored with my Copics. The gold label is created using this color combo YR31,Y26,YR23 and Y28.

I embossed the PSX stamp with gold sparkle embossing powder on gold cardstock.

Hope to see you over at The Outlawz this week.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Snow Flakes–TTCRD Challenge

Hi there,

Hope everyone is doing well. Here we are half way through December. Wow that is hard to believe. Only 16 days till New Years Eve. Then we ring in the new year and have to start writing 2012.

Yes one more challenge for the year over at TTCRD. Wow. I’m sure many have seen snowflakes already this year and many are not looking forward to them. But many are. Well this challenge will go out with snowflakes falling.

The challenge is being sponsored by Suzanne Dean’s CMC Classroom. And what a great prize she has. She is offering one of her online Copic classes. Did you hear she just released her Class 5.

What do you need to do for the challenge? This challenge you will need to create a card that is using the colors Blue and White and of course snowflakes, but you will also need to use lots of sparkle, bling or glitter. Oh and one more thing it will need to be a circle card. Nothing like a really good challenge to end the year.

To make my circle card I traced a round object and cut it out. I then thought it still needs something so I punched small circles and created the scallop look. My image is by Impression Obsession and colored with my Copics. I used a small about of silver thread to make the bow for the mittens. My snow flakes are cut with dies from both Cuttlebug and Sizzix. Of course I added some glitter and bling to them.

The paper is from My Mind’s Eye Be Merry collection. I hope you will join us at TTCRD for our final challenge for 2011. But stay tuned we have a lot in store for you in 2012.

I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Bearlymine Challenge - un traditional colors no red or green

Scrap-Creations - first snow

Thanks for stopping by and I will see you soon.

Friends

Hello there,

Can you believe that it is Wednesday already. Wow the year is coming to an end very quickly... 2012 here we come.

My card today is about friendship. It might be a childhood friend or one that you have met as an adult. A true friend is hard to come by. Always treasure you friendships. They will always get you through things you can never imagine you will go through.

This is another Saturated Canary image that I have used. I think this is so sweet. I have colored this with my Copics. It is for a challenge over at CMC Bookendz. The theme was something to do with the book that is being read this month A Invisible Thread. The book reflects friendship. It is between a woman and a young boy that she has helped friendship.

I know my image is two little girls sharing secrets but it is all about friendship. I have colored the image with my Copics. My papers are some that I have had in my collection.

Added a few pearls and some pink bakers twine bow.

I hope that you have enjoyed my card. This was really fun to make. This is for the CMC Bookendz Challenge. You should drop by and check out the Bookendz that Suzanne has created.

Thank you for stopping by today. Watch for tomorrows TTCRD challenge and Friday for The Outlawz challenge

Beautiful Fairy

Happy Tuesday Everyone,

I hope that with the upcoming holidays everyone is doing well. You can really tell the rush is getting to many. Please make sure you take care of yourself in all ways.

My card today was inspired by the challenge over at CMC. Have you checked it out lately. Suzanne has added a 5th class to her line up of on line Copic classes. All I can say is WOW there are some great techniques she is teaching in this class. Lots of videos and PDF's to inspire. You should check it out. Never to old to learn something new.

My image is by Krista Smith owner of Saturated Canary. Her images are so cute. I love the faces on them. This is Whispy a Fairy. I wanted to keep the card simple because of the all the gold.

The challenge was to use the colors of Gold, Cream and White. The inspiration photos and the DT cards are beautiful at the CMC site.
I have colored her with my copics. I wasn't sure about the color combo at first but after I saw the DT cards and then tried it I love it. I will be using this combo again.

I only used one patterned paper which is very light and not a lot of design in it. The paper is from My Minds Eye Lost and Found Christmas collection. I layered everything on gold cardstock that I had. The ribbon is just some from my collection. I think I got it at Big Lots out of their Christmas section. I added a little stickles to her wings and her ruffles under the skirt just to add a little sparkle. I really think she came out pretty.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look. I am entering this in the following challenges.

CMC Gold, Cream and White

Karen Doodles Clean and Simple

Inky Impression Challenges Use Ribbon

Cupcake Craft Challenge Sparkle and Shine

Ready for a Parade!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Well Gilli sure is. She has been making her rounds at all the holiday parades. She choose her red and gold outfit to do those dance numbers in.

I am filling in for Dionne at The House of Gilli.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I had a blast making this card for the Red and Gold challenge. I knew going into it I wanted to make her skirt gold and give it some glitz. She is colored with Copics. I added crystal stickles to her skirt and glaze pen to her boots.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The holly and berries on her at are some confetti I have in a big collection of confetti I have. The lollipops and Merry Christmas are confetti as well. My papers that I have used are from Imaginisce Cottage Christmas Collection.

I hope that you will join in on the challenge. It is a fun one. Just think of all the different things you can do with the colors Red and Gold. My Copic combo for gold in case anyone would like to try is YR31,Y26,YR23,Y28. I also want to thank anaRy for inviting me to help out. It has been really fun.

Thanks for stopping by to have a look. I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season so far.
