TTCRD Challenge- Holiday Embellishments

Happy December 1st,

Wow can you believe it. December is here already. 2011 is coming to an end. It does seem this year has flown by for me any way. Now that those who celebrated, Thanksgiving is behind us and the “big” holiday season is upon us. I hope that is a very smooth holiday for all.

It’s time for another challenge over at the TTCRD challenge blog. Are you ready. This challenge is being sponsored by Gilli Stamps. anaRy has provided us with some really cute images to work with. The challenge is to make a holiday card that included 3 embellishments.

My card today is using skater Gilli. She looks like she is ready take on the holiday ice show. She is ready in her pink and green costume. She is just waiting for her cue to start her routine.

I have colored Gilli with my Copics. I added some stickles to her top part of her costume to give it that sparkle you see in the shows. Her skates have some gloss using my clear glaze pen. This allows you to be more accurate in smaller areas. The snow flakes are cut with a Cuttlebug Die. I have used some red bakers twine. I have been using bakers twine a lot this year.

The papers used for my card are from My Mind’s Eye Be Merry Collection. I cut the “Merry Christmas” out with my Slice 3 times and layered it to give it more of a chipboard look. Added a little stickles to that.
