Trick or Treat

Hi Everyone,

I have a quick picture of a card I did using another cute Sassy Cheryl image ( yes I love her images). Isn't she a cutie? Nothing ugly about her.

She is all ready to head out for some treats. She is a good girl no tricks up her sleeves.
Sorry the lighting is a little bad it is later in the afternoon so no bright sun.

I have colored her with my copics. Her dress has some pretty stickles on it. The ribbon is glittery. The Trick or Treat stamp is a studio G stamps

I wanted the spider web paper to stand out and the plain orange cardstock was not cutting it. I added some heat and stick powder and used my AIG pumpkin glitter to make it look like glitter paper which I didn't have in orange.

I hope you like the card I have for you today.
Thanks for stopping by.

Harvest Time

Hello Everyone,

Happy Wednesday! Can you believe that October is half over. Wow, the end of the year will be here before you know it. I just noticed on the calendar that Thanksgiving is pretty late this year. I have seen a black Friday already go up on BFads. Good grief guess better get moving on that Christmas shopping.

Ok, today my card is not Christmas but just screaming fall.

This is a Sassy Cheryl image called Max and his prize pumpkin. You can get it here.
I have colored him with my copics. I wanted something a little different for his hat so after I colored the hat I used my colorless blender to make the polkadots.

The background paper is by DCWV that I purchased from Joann's called The Pumpkin Patch.  This paper pad really has some pretty papers in it.

The little leaves are cut out using a new die I picked up a few weeks ago from Impression Obsession. It was a smaller die than I thought but I like that it is smaller and worked well on this card.

The verse is one that I made into a print and cut file using my silhouette cameo.

Thanks for stopping by to have a look today and hope you have a great rest of the week.

Skate for the Cause

Hi everyone,

Hope your week has started off to be a good one. Today I have a card that I made with one of Sassy Cheryl's recent additions to her shop. Isn't she a cutie? I thought I would make it a little different rather than a winter or Christmas card. It's October and that it breast cancer awareness month so I went in that direction. I created the verse/tag with my cameo making a print file out of the ice skates cut file. This just give you double use of your cut files.

Now I support the cause when ever I can I am not sure I would do so well with this well unless skating can be done on your butt because that would be more than likely where I would end up. LOL But I would give it a try. ( I think) might have to think about it, the older you get the bones don't heal well if broken. Hummm. Ok I would donate.:-)

I have colored her with my copics. The paper is some I have had in my stash it has a design with glitter all over it. The soft pink ribbon I thought went well with it.

I few pink pearls and an awareness ribbon charm. Kept it a little simple.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will consider helping in the fight.

I Love Fall

Hi there,

I have been having fun for the past couple of days making cards. I thought I would share one that I think came out really cute.

The image is by Sassy Cheryl. I thought she was just adorable hugging her pumpkin she picked. She is called Maddie and her prize pumpkin and is available here. I have colored her with my copics. She has also been cut out using my cameo.
The I love Fall was also cut using my cameo.

The ribbons are some scraps of seam binding that I colored using distress stains. I was trying out the new colors and I just thought they were so pretty together and screamed FALL that I had to try and use the scraps somewhere they just fit this card.
The little leaves are brads and the leaf in the middle of the ribbon is a wood piece by recollections.

The background paper is by DCWV that I purchased from Joann's called The Pumpkin Patch. How perfect is that for this image.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Some more organizing

Hi Everyone,

Here are a few more organizing ideas and a video tour of my studio that I have put to use .

These are jewerly/sock organizer I purchased from Amazon.com
They have pockets on both the front and back. I am using them to store my stickles and liquid pearls.

I have cut tags much like the ones I used to catalog my embossing folder but smaller to put a sample of my stickles and liquid pearls on. This way I just grab the ring to see what color would look best.

This is the liquid pearls side. I also have these same organizers to organize a lot of much embellishment like my pearls and such. Works great.

These are over the door shoe organizers. I am using them to organizer a lot of different small things as well as my ribbons. I have my ribbon seperated by color in zip bags and have two colors in each slot.
These had metal hangers but just didn't like they way they mark the door up so I put the 3M hooks up and used ribbon to hang mine and it works perfect.

This one holds my brad, eyelets etc. I purchased days of the week pill boxes from the Dollar Tree and have put all my brads in these. Work just perfect. Mine were a mess before.

This is a little closer picture that includes my charms and some laser wood cuts.

Here is an updated video tour I have done of my room.

Just some more idea of the new organizing I have done over the summer. It really is working out very well for me. Hope you enjoyed. Thanks for stopping by.

Flashback 50's

Hi Everyone,

Hope your week is going well. Been very busy this last week. I have a really fun card for you today. A flashback to the 50's.

This is an digi image by Simply Betty. Isn't she adorable. I thought the pink and gray would be perfect for the "50's" look. Is that poodle not too cute. I added some puff paint on him.

I have colored her with my Copics. I added some black and pink glitter pearls around the cards along with some pretty pink ribbon and a pink flourish. The papers are some that I had in my stash. With most of this card I think it is perfect for Breast Cancer Awareness this month.
Don't forget to schedule those Mammograms. Mine is all set up.

I had fun making this card. I wan't around in the 50's but I do remember in the later 70's that a big fad was the 50's style because of Happy Day's. We had 50's days in Jr High that everyone dress up like this.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed my card today.
