I was very happy with the coloring on this one. I like the shading. This reminded me of the movie Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts was at the polo match. She had a similar dress on so I made the hair with a bit of red in it.
This little guy is playing detective. Image is from Digital Pencil Too.
Here are a couple Halloween cards I worked on. I am not sure that I like the colors but something a little different. The stamps are by Picture Show Rubber Stamps.
This week's challenge for Mo's Digital Pencil was Paper Piecing. This is the first time I have ever done Paper Piecing. I think it came out pretty well.
The curtains, pillows and jeans are all done with digital papers that I have. I was surprised at how well the pillows and curtains look. They didn't look so well before I cut everything out.
This was a card that was really outside my norm. I really added a ton of bling to her but the picture didn't pick it up as well as I wanted.
My goal is to use something old that I have in my collection of stuff. Lord knows there is enough of it. So with this one I used the crystals that I have a ton of. Well not a ton but a drawer full. LOL
Here are some freebie digi images from http://www.ingerhardingfreebies.com/. Her work is beautiful. Please check her web site out she offers her images for free.
This Christmas Card (Christmas in July) is done in burgundy and greens. I think it came out really well. I love the colors.
This is the same image but in reds and greens. Still pretty.
This image is so cute and Inger Harding latest on her site. I was very happy with the color combo I did. It's hard to see in the picture but if you click to enlarge you can see the little hearts that I added to the blanket with a small stamp in a color close to the background.
If you click on the photo to enlarge you will notice the skirt has a sparkle. I never knew that you can use embossing powder on type of a two way glue pen. Gee it's only been 16 years of stamping. LOL. Well I colored the grass skirt using Gamsol and Prismacolor pencils then "colored" the skirt with the two way glue pen and added sparkle embossing powdered and heated. It gave it sparkle and texture. I was so impressed. I like the way it gives you the dimension rather than looking flat and glossy. I have never been big on embossing even though I have a ton of embossing powder but now that I have found this way of doing it I think I may be trying this more often.
Here is my challenge card for Mo's Digital Pencil Too.
It took a bit to get a picture the blue kept coming out looking black. My fabric is the red, white and blue satin ribbon and bow. I added the fireworks with an old DOTS stamp that I had. The image was perfect to make this happen. They are enjoying the fireworks display. :-)
