Stella is at it again

Can you believe it is the end of August. Bring on the fall. Well it seems within the next week if not already the kids will be back in school.

Today I bring you my calendar page for September. You got it Bugaboo Stella. She is just a hoot.

I have colored her in with my copics. The paper is from DCWV. It is a very old pack and I think this was the last piece of the blackboard type of paper. I am bummed about that.

I can't wait to finish our calendar and make a slide show of it. I have been having fun making it.

The week is moving right along. Today brings another challenge over at Through the Craftroom Door Magazine.

We have a lot of changes going on. If you have followed us for a while you will know that we now have two DT teams. So we will have new inspiration up every week. And our newest change is one that I am sure many will like. We are now going to an Anything Goes format. We already had our cards made up for a Diva theme before the change was decided so your card can be Diva or Anything Goes related. Please make sure you follow the rules to participate in the challenge.

On to my card. I am using one of our sponsors this weeks image. Crafts and Me is our sponsors this week. This cute mermaid is one of their images.

I have colored her with my Copics. I also got to use my new Cameo for the pretty lacy background. I love it!

The little embellishments are puffy stickers from our local dollar store. I thought they fit very well.

Let me tell you this sweet image had a lot of hair to color, good thing I like coloring hair LOL...

Happy Sunday,

It's a rather blah day here. Clouds and raining a little. But all in all a great day for crafting. I am going to work on some project today that I have been wanting to get done.

So this Saturday bring a new challenge over at MayzyArt. Yup this will be a fun one. It's Fluffy. So you interpret how you feel is best. I am using Halloween Cat. I kind of modeled her after the Broadway show Cats.

I was really happy with out her leopard outfit came out.

I have colored her with my Copics.

The die cuts were done with my Slice and the Spook Alley card. However my card is not longer working. I have only had it a couple of months. I have tried contacting Making Memories but have not gotten any kind of response. What a shame. I like the card but I now have a Cameo, so I will be using it instead.

It's Friday it's Friday. Oh I am so glad it is Friday. The schools in my area start back Monday and Tuesday.

So with that let me tell you about the challenge this week over at The Outlawz CPC challenge. Yup this week we have back to school.

My card today is using a MayzyArt image. Isn't she cute. I colored her with Copic markers to the colors of a Catholic school that was in the area that I grew up.

The papers are some old ones I have had.

The little pencils are created by using tooth picks. I have made these for years as embellishments.

I computer generated When is recess? Because admit it that was one of your first questions as a kid when you got to school. That and when is lunch.

Summer is winding down. I have to admit not fast enough for me. I am not a summer person. I cannot wait till fall. Over at The Outlawz CPC challenge this week our theme is Splash (water related) We have Guylou as our sponsor this month and you still have time to get a card in for a chance to win a gift certificate from her shop.

My card today is using one of MayzyArt images. She is so ready for some splashing around.

I just love the freckles on her. I have colored with my Copics.

My words are made using my Slice machine. But as of this week I now have a Cameo and hope to put it to some very good use with some future cards.

Back to School

Hello everyone,

Can believe it! Almost time for the new school year to start. It may have already started for some. So with the new challenge over at Through the Craftroom Door Magazine. You guessed it the theme is Back to school use number or alphabets. Now you will see things a little different because we are now broken up into two teams. This way each team will be posting each week rather than all twice a month. I think this is going to be fun doing it this way. Still great prizes to win.

Let me tell you a little about my card.

My card is made using a Bugaboo image. Bugaboo is one of our sponsors for this challenge. I chose this digi because it had the chalk board and allowed be to put the magazines name in there.

My papers are from a paper pad I got from Michaels, it had all kinds of papers in it for just about every season. One of the sheet had a bunch of rulers on it so I used that and cut up strips of the ruler and layered on to the other papers.

I colored the image using my copics. I little ABC are glitter stickers.

A little bakers twine for some texture and I thought it came out cute.

Hello Everyone,

I am re-posting this as the challenge is up on MayzyArt blog. Due to an unexpected family loss with Mayzy she had to delay the challenge. But guess what you check all my fellow DT gals fun creations over at Mayzy's blog. Mayzy we all love you are so very sorry about your loss.

Today bring a new challenge over at MayzyArt. The theme this time around is Silly. Hummm what could you do with that. Me, well I saw the Halloween mummy and thought of The Bangles song Walk like and Egyptain. So I copy the image three times and lined them all all.

Now the hard part was coming up with some papers that would go with the image. Never fear I found some digi papers that worked.

Trying to get the right color for the mummy cloth was kind of weird but I ended up using a warm grey then went over it with a very light E color to give it a little more of a dusty/dirty look. I distressed the edges of the white card stock to match that dusty/dirty look.

I didn't want to do too much because I didn't want it to take away from the color and sash I did in a gold tone.

It's a Circus/Carnival

Can you believe it's August? I guess the kids will be back in school soon.

Today I am using one of MayzyArts images. I really thought this was a fun one. The papers are from a DCWV pack I got at Michaels. I thought the flags and banners were perfect as the background.

I have colored my image with Copics. I added a bit of glossy accents to balloon.

A little bakers twine which I haven't used in a while to add a little more color to the card.

Tic Tac Toe

Hello everyone,

It's time for our first challenge of the month. This month we have Guylou as our sponsor. She is offer a gift certificate to her store to our winner.

The them this week is Tic Tac Toe. You pick 3 items in a row on the Tic Tac Toe board and use them on your card. My choices were die cuts, glitter and pearls.

The image I am using is Cinder by Staturated Canary. I just think it is so cute that her little shoe is missing as in the fairy tale.

I have colored her with my Copics. My die cut is from Cherry Lynn. I wanted to give it a little more girly look to it so I added some lace that I colored with my little air brush set for my copics. I think my can of air is running out.

I added glitter to her dress underskirt and her one shoe

I put a little glitter pen on her hair bow.
