Mom and Pearls

Hello Everyone,

I hope your week is off to a good start. The countdown is on till Mother's day. For all those how have that special woman in your life even if she is not a Mom make sure you do something special for her.

I am here today with our newest challenge for Through the Craftroom Door. Today's challenge is Mother's Day with the option to use a pearl or pearls on your project. You could make a card as I did or may a special little box. Just needs to be a Mother's Day theme with pearls optional. Be sure and stop over to the magazine challenge because it's our 1st birthday for the challenge site. Oh boy do we have lots of sponsors for this challenge. Be sure and check us out. Ok on to my card.

I have used a Saturated Canary image by Krista Smith. Her images have the prettiest faces. Oh and I love the hair. But then I love coloring hair.

I only used part of the image as to highlight her face. I have added lots of pearls all around her.

I got to try out my newest die that I got at a stamp show I went to the end of March. The paper collection is Echo Park Be Mine collection. I wanted to stay with a more muted tone because the image is so pretty.

The MOM stamp is an old unmounted stamp that I don't know who it is buy. I added a few more pearls to the bottom of the card just because I could. LOL
