Sketch Challenge

Hi there,

Hope you are have a wonderful start to your weekend. It very hot were I am. I am thinking fall already. :-)

Today I have a MayzyArt card for you. Mayzy is sponsoring the challenge over at Friday Sketch Challenge blog. They invited the Mayzy DT team to add some inspiration cards to their challenge if we would like to. Of course I jumped on the chance because I just love working with Mayzy and her images. This is Birthday Fairy. She is just plain fun. I hope you will stop over and check out all the Friday Sketch and MayzyArt DT inspiration on the Friday Sketch Challenge Blog.

I have colored her with my Copic markers. My Happy Birthday stamp is one from Studio G.

My friend Darlene encouraged me to try the dry embossing folder with adding ink to the folder. This was my first attempt. I am pretty happy with it. I don't use my embossing folders nearly enough considering how many of them I have.

My corner die cut is one of the first die cuts that Cuttlebug came out with. It is my go to corner die. I love how it comes out. I even sometimes use the inside piece that is cut out.

I have colored an added stickles to her wings. Really a fairy needs bling to her wings.
Hope you will join in on the challenge and for a chance to win some of Mayzy's wonderful images.

Please stop back tomorrow as I will be sharing my card for The Outlawz 2000 member party and see what Mayzy has in store for all you Mayzy fans.

This card is over the top gorgeous, Jo! I'm going to have to try that ink embossing stuff. It looks so cool on your card. Your coloring of Mayzy's adorable image is perfect too! I'll be over to check out the party after while. I have been up all night and need to get some shut-eye!

Jo, what a great design! Love your beautifully-colored fairy! And you're right--bling is definitely needed for a fairy! I love the dry embossed piece--I should try that sometime, because it really looks cool! :^)
Hugs,
Penny
